Speaking of Johnny Depp...

I have only seen a handful of his movies: Pirates, Edward Scissorhands, Benny and Joon, Secret Window, you get the idea. So I have been adding some of his movies to my Netflix queue.

Last night I watched Don Juan DeMarco. Am I the only person that adored this movie?? Honestly, I cried at the end. What did you think of it?

If you are a Depp fan and haven't seen this one, please do.

Oh I love this movie! I cried too. Its just so very sweet

Most recent out in DVD The Libertine Have any of you seen it? My hubby and my parents loved it.

I thought it was ok. I guess I was expecting more explicit scenes with Johnny's Character John Walmot.

I thought it was well acted but I kinda didn't agree with the way the plot made a sudden downward plunge with very little warning towards the end. Nice touch adding the silver nose though. ;)

I enjoy Don Juan Demarco very much. A charming film. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

There was a movie on the other night with Johnny (from my high school days) called "Private Resort". If you want a great view of his tush, this is the one to rent. ;) :teeth:

And don't forget "Fear and Loathing in LA" and "Ed Wood"

Fear and Loathing is great!

I love all his movies. I think he is just amazing.

Oh, not a movie, but how can anyone forget 21 Jump Street. He was very cute back then, now he is SEXY!!!

I enjoyed Don Juan DeMarco but it wasn't my favorite Depp film. It was pretty good though :)

Fear and Loathing in LV and Finding Neverland are two of my favorites. Although I have come to the conclusion that if a film has Johnny Depp, it can be enjoyed somehow ;)

And for some of his very, very early films, check out "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Platoon" . . . yes, that was Johnny!!

And don't forget "Secret Window" . . . based on a Stephen King story!

"Donnie Brasco" is another good one . . .

I love watching Don Juan....often change the dialouge to the French language...killer! Of course, it does not sound like him, but I do get to look at him!
Not the best movie of the bunch, but it's a fun one.
I own Don Juan, Benny and Joon, Finding Neverland, Chocolat..I think Chocolat is my fave, and Ed Wood.
I could not get into "Hell" my DD and DH love it...I just could not stomach it.
Astronauts wife was good, some very steamy scenes, woo wee!
Have any of you seen The Ninth gate? Wow! That one is good. My DH and I watched it about 4 times. We kept picking up little things throughout that shows you where the movie is going.
Another steamy scene in that one near the end...had to leave the room!

I loved seeing him on Letterman last night. He has such a strong presence as an actor that I tend to forget how quiet and unassuming he is. And definitely charming, I agree! :)

What she said!!
