Has anyone read the book "Speak?" I am reading it now, it is really haunting. I can see different people in my school fitting that "outcast" personality, and makes me think twice how I treat people. I can even relate myself to how Melinda feels.

I think the most powerfull line in the book is when she is describing the different cluques and she says...

"I am outcast"

That just gets to me! No one should have to feel that way.

Its a great/quick read, If you have a few hours, I recomend it.

I've seen the movie on Lifetime. It's a really great story, but kind of scary

I didn't know there was a book,I'm going to ask my mom if we can get it next time we head near barnes & noble or the library.

I read that book a couple of years ago.
I really didn't like it.
It gave me a weird feeling in my stomach.

Not that I only read really upbeat things... but this was way too dark for me.

It's on DVD,so blockbuster might have it.

I loved that book. I read it on my own, then a year or so later, I read it in school. It'd very well written, and it does make you think twice about how to treat the "outcasts", because you don't know their story.

Ha I just finished this book in English class and we had a big test on it yesterday! I personally enjoyed the book. We're watching the movie next week in class.
