Speacial extras we could do mid-day?

We have park hoppers for 6 days. The plan for the first 5 days is: MK, MK, AK, HS, EP. We also have an Illuminations cruise scheduled for arrival day (no parks that day), and a CA Grill reservation to watch fireworks (will also see them from the park another day).

Current plan for our last day is breakfast at Ohana, then head to AK (should have a FP for FoP). Might do Everest a couple of times too. Then the only other thing planned is an 8:45 dinner reservation at Whispering Canyon. Originally I planned to hop to another park or two during the day and redo any favorite rides of the kids. But now I’m wondering if there’s some tour or extra that would be worthwhile without costing $1000 for my family of 5.

There's some cheaper activities at fort wilderness you could do- horseback riding, canoe rental, fishing. You could do the free campfire sing along before heading over to the wilderness lodge. Depending on the time of the year. It starts earlier in the fall and winter so it would work with your dinner time.
There's a free hidden mickey hunt at wilderness lodge. You get a small prize when you finish. Use Google if you get stuck with the clues.

Adding that our youngest son will be 7 yrs 11 months at the time. I’ve seen some where the minimum age is 8. Hmmm.

It’ll be February 2nd. So those would likely be options. I didn’t even think about the campground!

You could go to Polynesian and rent a boat to cruise around bay lake -- pontoon would be $45 per 1/2 hour. I would honestly want to do at least an hour so figure $90 - holds up to 10 people. I am not sure about the 11month old. I would assume all will need a life vest so i am not sure if they would have one small enough for the 11 month old. Guess call ahead.

We are staying at Poly so I’ll definitely be checking out resort stuff there. We don’t have an 11 month old - my son will 7 yrs 11 months at the time. I mentioned it because I’ve seen a bunch of things with minimum age of 8. My other kids are teenagers.

The campgrounds look fun. The kids love to kayak so that would be fun. Carriage ride would be fun too. It says they fit 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small kids. I wonder if they’d let us do 2 adults, and 7, 13, and 14 yr olds. My teens aren’t large children.

We always try to spend a day a Fort Wilderness. These are activities we've included there:
Horseback riding (your 7 year old won't be able to do this)

Motor Boat Rentals (also can do at other resorts on Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon)

Biking (especially nice here - can also rent from Wilderness Lodge and bike in FW)

At the Grand Floridian: My two girls LOVED the Pirate Adventure when they were younger.

(ETA: I just ready your last post and see you have a 13 and 14 year old. Too old for the Pony rides and Pirate Adventure).
