My experience is with a bus land tour
1. Make sure your
ECV is OK with
DCL. You may have size issues. You may need specific cabins. You'll need to put your ECV in your cabin. There might be a special storage place which may, or may not, be near your cabin.
2. Many of the gates at BCN require walking down the stairs to the tarmac. People who list wheelchair on their reservation exit via.a different door directly on a platform. After everyone is accounted for the platform is moved away and lowered. You're transported by bus to the terminal building.
3. The streets are doable. Some cobblestone streets are a little rough.
4. I agree with the PP. Some restaurants don't have ramps or elevators. One of our hotels had a small elevator. The entrance and exit doors were on adjacent walls. You had to turn the scooter 90°. We had a foldable scooter. We folded it.like
A stroller.
5. It's workable if you can walk short distances and at least half a flight of stairs.
6. Consider ship sponsored shore excursions.
