Was anyone else holding their breath? I was so happy to see them splashdown without any trouble, that I had tears in my eyes. I can't believe that the wife of one of them will be going up in that same capsule at the beginning of next year. That is amazing to me!

Yes beautiful splashdown. Gee my goosebumps from 45 years ago came back when I saw the 4 parachutes open.

Here’s to many more US space missions. Well done.

Very amazing. I always hold my breath, and breathe relief when those chutes open, or back in the Shuttle days, when they touched down on the runway.

The recovery is so different from the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo missions. No aircraft carrier, helicopters. The capsule is onboard already.

Very much so. As first I thought they were some sort of safety device that the two fast boats had put down. They it became clear they were boats and then it was said they were private boats. I was stunned.

I watched it and loved it!!!
I was also tearing up when they made the splash down without any issues.
I am a science geek so this was right up my interests alley.

Agree, what is wrong with those people in the private boats!? Actually surprised they did not have the Coast Guard out there protecting the area around the Capsule.

Just another example of 'I cant' believe how stupid people are'.
Way too many of those lately.
