I read on WDW magic, that the speculation was 2-3 years. So who knows.Do we think it will be completed by 2021? We will be there Dec 2020, maybe it might be up and running by then, or is this a big, big job?
iirc when the refurb was first announced, the timeline was expected to be at least 18 months of downtime and possibly over 2 years.Do we think it will be completed by 2021? We will be there Dec 2020, maybe it might be up and running by then, or is this a big, big job?
I have the mp3 of his narration and listen to it every so often. I really like the musical accompaniment too. Fond memories indeed. My fondest memories are of Jeremy Irons
Likewise! My fondest memories are of Jeremy Irons
Whelp, I've been able to read this thread, so I guess I better thank the Phoenicians - thanks guys!
Wish they'd do a similar gut job to Carousel of Progress.

As long as I still get to thank some Phoenicians and smell Rome burning I’m cool with whatever they do to it! I’m just glad we’re getting in at the last minute, I was terrified it would happen before the start of our May trip. Bad enough I only have 2 days of Big Thunder time.![]()

Uuugghh Rome burning is the worst part!! I actually loved the old scene, but the smell kills me!!![]()
I weirdly love that smell, I associate it so strongly with the ride now that it would be really odd to me if it went away!
If they are in the area and/or have jobs that allow them to take off to do it (or no plans for the time they do have off - like Spring Break) AND have the money for a last-minute trip.
Looks like my birthday trip may be a 2-park trip (MK and AK) unless Remy‘s Adventure is open by mid-July.
