Has anyone done this one recently? I watched a couple videos but they were a year or so old. Last time we were in Nassau we stayed onboard since I had a previous bad experience. My husband wants to do an excursion and this is the only one that seems like our 5 year old would enjoy it.

Not 'recently' recently, but we did visit Ardastra probably 7 years ago when we stayed on the island on vacation. It's a relatively small zoo-like setting, but we really enjoyed the experience - especially the roaming flamingos. I think if your 5yo likes animals and zoos, they would enjoy several hours at Ardastra. But be aware the flamingos are big and tall and roam freely throughout. They might be a bit intimidating to a little one at times! But they tend to mind their own business and aren't aggressive!

We went 6 years ago, and my kids absolutely loved it! They are both adults now and still love to visit anything animal related. :)

I did it a couple of years ago, and loved it. Definitely would do it again

We did it June 2025 and while I enjoyed it, it's not one I would do again. But take that from a perspective of two adults with no kids. If we did go with kids, I would just go on our own and not with Disney. The zoo itself was interesting and it was cool learning about some new things.

We just did it 2 days ago. We really enjoyed it.
Did you feel it was worth the price? I've only been able to find older videos but $237 feels high.

I know my daughter will like it, she loves animals but between the price and the excursion being at 12pm I'm a bit unsure.

I do not feel it was worth the $89 a person to do it through the ship tour. Defenitely would recommend doing it alone. The only difference is you get a guided tour once at the gardens. The ride on the bus there was pretty much direct but did include info about landmarks along the way.
