I contacted the Chef and told him what happened. The Chef contacted the Manager (he didn’t have to and went above and beyond to resolve this). The Manager called me today and apologized. At first she said we never checked in

when I started naming the person who checked us in she finally found us and knew where we were seated. She even knew that 2 of us were accidentally seated in the lunch area at 11:40 am and we had Victoria as our server. I detailed what happened and that we couldn’t get what we had already ordered with the chef. She wanted the name of the waitress (I do have photos from a distance but we chose not to pursue it further as it’s a training issue and I don’t believe it was the waitresses fault necessarily).
She asked if I was in Florida, and if we will come back to WDW. I said we probably will sometime later this year. She said she will make sure we are accommodated and will seat us (just to make sure we are accommodated, not clear?). She said she will retrain her staff.
They’re still relatively new so hopefully they can get a handle on this. CRT we got a really bad server (Kathy who was short and condescending but got a grip when the Chef came and apologized (he was taking over for the original Chef I spoke to).
