It really does depend on the ride vehicle. For SM, it's all about legroom (even though your husband is 6'6", if he doesn't have long legs, he can manage to wedge his way in). My stepson is 6'8" and can manage to get into a SM ride vehicle, however he has to scrunch down to lower the California Screamin shoulder harness and the headrest hits him at the base of his neck.
