Space Mountain Closure?

Yesterday I was able to book a FP+ for 4/22, which previously had showed as closed

I would find that particularly irritating as well.

They pull more strings than Gepetto.

i just logged into MDE and it shows for 4/20 i can FP+ Space Mountain where last month i had mine cancelled in that whole fiasco. also, they took away my 4th FP+ they granted me because of the "closure".

They took back the extra FP? That's AWFUL. They took away your FP, made you switch up your plans, then gave it back (I assume without even alerting you?), then took back the 1 FP they gave you for the trouble? I'd be on the phone complaining about that.

in fact, looks like it is closed 4/20, 4/21, 4,22 & 4/23 (Monday through Thursday)...per the website

My 4th is still showing up. I just switched my replacement one back to Space Mountain.

On the "Attractions" page for April 22, Space Mountain is showing up as "Open" again. So either they decided to cancel/reschedule the refurb, or the MDE issues they've been having means they restored to a backup that didn't have the latest Space Mountain info.

If you go to the attractions page:

You can click on the date and set it to any date you want. It will show what attractions are open & closed.

ok crisis averted. my 4th FP+ IS still there and valid according to Customer Support. MDE wasn't showing it correctly and i had to log out and log back in and do some backdoor navigating on the site to access it.

when i asked about the Space Mountain closure for 4/20-4/23, the rep had no information he could give me. he said if the reservation could be made then the ride should be open.

I was so bummed we couldn't get a Space Mountain FP+ for the 20-23, but you're right, it does appear as an available option now. Going to modify our reservations -- happy dance!

Yup. Space Mountain is no longer listed as "Closed for refurbishment" during the dates 4/20 to 4/23......wonder what happened
