Space 220 Lounge - Menu options

I understand there is a lounge menu with appetizers and drinks at the Space 220 Lounge.

My question is: what else can you order from the lounge?

I've heard you can order off the regular menu, but if you do then you must order the entire prix fixe meal.

I've also heard you can order the regular menu items a la carte while in the lounge (i.e. just an entree), for cheaper than the prix fixe price.

We have two reservations we are holding on our last day in April; one "regular" lunch, and one lounge dinner. We are trying to decide which to keep, but would like some clarification before deciding.

I have been to the lounge three times. Each time they indicated that if you ordered the regular menu, it had to be the entire prix fixe menu.

Is this per person or for the whole table? I want to eat and drink from the lounge menu, but they have no kids menu, so I would order the kids prefix for my son. Would they allow that?

Each person gets to choose which menu to order from, but anyone selecting the regular menu has to get the full prix fixe, can't just order a single item off that menu. Last visit was in January so if they changed it since then, I wouldn't know about it

Yeah-I’m wondering the same thing. The lounge menu doesn’t look great for a 16&13 year old

16&13 would have to order from the adult price fixe menu. Now you could order adult portions from the kids menu at some places and be charged the adult price. Our teen did enjoy her Barbara, steak and chocolate cheesecake (not overly sweet; perfect.)

I found Space220 very restrictive in what they would do even for allergies. Our son (5) had a dried piece of grilled chicken and fries (they removed everything for milk/egg allergies). They didn’t even offer some grilled veggies. He just ate the fries (he finished all his chicken and pasta at Topolinos btw). Both kids found the blue drink disgusting and they love blue milk from Oga’s.

Is the lounge area nice? I know it's probably not as fancy as the restaurant, and I don't need to sit right by the "windows", but can you at least see them from the lounge?

Thanks!

YES!! The room is like a large, kinda circular rectangle (??) and the bar is on the back wall, then the lounge, then the regular dining room - so everyone has a view of the "windows" but you're just farther back!

Awesome, thank you!

I'm finding it next-to-impossible to get reservations for the lounge or restaurant, so it's good to know the lounge experience isn't significantly less appealing.

I think they’re holding back reservations for walk ups.

NO, I dont think so at all! We sat in the restaurant area but at the top, and the tables to our left were the lounge seating and their view was as good as ours! We liked being up at the "top" since we could see all the "windows" and for our upcoming trip we're having lunch in the lounge and I'm just as excited!

Thank you for the feedback!

Hmmm, maybe so. We've been planning this trip since July of 2019, and we've cancelled it the last two years (well, two years ago it was cancelled for us). Eating at Space 220 is one of the things we've been looking forward to, and one of the only benefits of delaying our trip for 24 months, so I'm really hoping we will find a way to get in!
