When we stayed at GF, they had the H2O spa version of shampoo and all, and it was great. We are staying at CS this time, and I believe they have the aquatics version of the H2O products. Can anyone who has used both compare them so I can get an idea of if I need to bring my own shampoo and conditioner? Thanks.

You are correct, the CSR has the acquatics version of the products. I did not use them while there as I had brought my own shampoo/conditioner (I am very fussy). However, we brought all the extras home and I've been using them and they are quite nice. I'm thinking of buying a big bottle to have at home.

You can buy the Disney products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel, etc.) on http://www.disneyresortcollection.com. They ship from New Jersey and I have ordered from them twice already. I have the aquatics line and the GF spa line and my preference is for the GF spa line. The cleaning and feel on my hair is pretty much the same, however I prefer the scent to the GF spa line. There is also a shampoo/conditioner combo, but it is a bit different and I don't think very much of it. The products are pretty cheap IMO. I'd check it out if you want to see for yourself before you go to Disney and you have a few dollars to spend.

The company which manufactures these items for Disney is a Chicago based company called h2o Plus. You can order directly from them at
www.h20plus.com as well. They often have promotions. They have some free standing stores as well (I saw one today on Michigan Ave.).

We love all H2O products. Which Disney resorts have them? We are booked at CSR for the end of September and were thinking of switching to POFQ as ny ds likes to have lunch or breakfast almost everyday @ DTD and POFQ seems to be the closest resort to DTD and has boat transportation.
Please advise.

Are the Aquatics line at the WL resort also? I am going to assume that they are. I have incredibily sensitive skin. I cannot use any shampoo that has ammonium (not sure on the spelling) in it. I have visited the website and looked and there are only three ingredients listed for the shampoo. Iceland Moss, Seaweed Extract, and Watercress Extract. Are these the only three ingredients total? If someone has a bottle of this shampoo and could read the back and assure me that there is no ammonium in this shampoo, I would be very grateful. If I use ammonium, my face breaks out in a rash almost instantly and I want to claw my skin off for the itching and burning. Not really how I want to feel at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Thank You for helping!

Wow, after learning SO much from these boards, maybe I can actually help someone! I have a bottle of shampoo from VWL that we brought back in May 07. It says it is "fortified with watercress, Iceland moss, and seaweed". Below that though is a long list of ingredients, the second one being "ammonium laureth sulfate". Who knows, they may have changed products since then. Anyway, have a great trip!

I just received my most recent order from Disney Resort Collection last week. Ammonium is listed several times in a VERY long list of ingredients. Ammonium Laureth Sulfate is the 2nd ingredient and Ammonium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate is listed as the 7th ingredient on the H20 Aquatics Shampoo.

Thanks Fizzmom and KeepMovingForward. I guess I will plan on taking my own brand of shampoo to the resort as always.
