Spa on cruise

I've read somewhere (either on DIS board or one of the many links) that there's a slimming treatment offered in the Spa. The treatment goes something like this, you get a massage, then wrapped up and light eletric current kind of zaps and slims you. Now I can't find the link, does anyone remember this?

Yes, they have it, it's the Ionithermie treatment. From all accounts posted here, it is expensive, slightly painful, and it doesn't work. I'd skip it.

I thought that I read in Mickey Morgan's cruise guide a testimonial from a woman that said that the ionitherime treatment worked. She and her husband both lost inches. I was planning to have this treatment during my August cruise. Can anyone else comment?

I thought that I read somewhere that the Algae Detoxitication treatment was good for helping people slim down. Is this the same thing? I certainly don't want to be Zapped!

My friend spent hundreds (with all the products they pushed) last Feb and although it took off a few inches...by the time the cruise was over the inches were right back. She was sorry she did it.
