Has anyone had a massage or other service here? Do you have any idea how far in advance to book and what their policies are?

Thanks!

I stopped in the Spa in June because I'm booking treatments for Oct. I spoke with CM and they gave me brochure. They said to book about week ahead. They said you can even book day before, but , getting time you want might not be option. I would't wait that long though. The phone number is 407-824-2332. The cancellation Policy is 2 hrs in advance or you will be charged for the full treatment. Packages not canceled 24 hrs in advance will be charged full price. You can also use the health club the day of your treatment. You can find info with full spa treatments on GF Resort infomation on the main page here. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We went in July & stayed at the GF RPC, so maybe this had something to do with it, but my dd & I were able to get a spa package with no notice. But, when we were there another mother and daughter who were stying at a diff. resort just walked up to the counter and were able to book for then. So I think if you try to make a ressies before you leave for your trip nd its all booked you may be able to just go to the spa and see if they have any cancelations. It was fairly crowded the day we went. I had the neck/back/head massage and the foot/leg massage & my daughter had the my first manicure/pedicure. The neck/back/head massage was absolutely wonderful. As for the foot/leg massage, it was a waist of money. My daughter loved her treatment, they treated her like a princess.

I've spent a lot of time (and money  ) in that spa.

It's not quite as world-class as Canyon Ranch or Miraval, but very nice none the less. They use Jurlique products, which I prefer to Phytomer which many other spas use.

Of course it depends on what you are booking, but I have found that certain things such as Vichey Showers and facials do book up fairly quickly. Massage and foot/leg treatment appointments are nearly impossible to get at about a month out for the day of and after the marathon.

I prefer to book about a month in advance, and if you have a specific technician or aesthetician you want to request, as much as two months in advance is even better yet.
