Souvenirs you regret not getting?

This is crazy, but I've been regretting not buying those adorable Mickey-themed post-it notes. I love office supplies and anything paper-related. Now I realize I can't get them online, and it only makes me want them more!

If I see those shirts anywhere this trip I'm so getting one, but it was over five years ago now that I saw them in the parks.

That's why I love eBay. In addition to both items above, I was able to find a giant stuffed Pumba with bugs in his mouth, just like I talked my husband out of buying years earlier. I felt bad for so long about that one--I didn't realize he was serious about wanting it until we got home!

One of those 5 dollar retro looking light blub christmas necklaces from last year. My mom talked me out of it and when i went back online to look there were selling for like 80 on ebay and personal shopper sites. There are many many others i regret not getting but this is the most recent lol

Ha! I walk my husband to the item to show him and make sure he knows the exact price to spend. I love bargains, but he'd just spend whatever to get it without much or any shopping around.

...Oh jeez, I just remembered the worst one. Back when Sid Cahuenga’s was still around I went in at one point to see that they had a whole shelf full of books that had belonged to Mary Pickford. There was one in particular that was a sort of spiritual book inscribed to her from a friend for $125, but I convinced myself I couldn't afford it on my CP pay. Probably true but past self, could you not have just eaten ramen for a month? Come on!

I have the same regret! I saw a shirt for sale there last week, but IMO it is ugly.

Same here. We had 1st visit in 2011 and now wish I had gotten something with the year printed on it. Didn't even occur to me then.

I saw something like this at this in the store at the Contemporary, except it said please stand clear of my vacation. I almost bought the mug that said the same thing. I'm so sad I did not.

I have had regrets in the past so now when I see something I like but I am not willing to pull the trigger I take a picture of the item and the barcode. Then when I get home if I decide I can't live without it I call Walt Disney World merchandising 877-560-6477 and order the item. It increases the cost of the item because you have to pay shipping but I have never had a problem getting things later.

When I went the first time, I regretted not getting my boyfriend a panda umbrella. I was so mad at myself later that I begged my friend who worked there to get it for me and ship it up to PA for a Christmas present. Lordy, that thing cost sooo much to ship! It basically doubled the cost. So now when it comes to gifts for people, I just get it. As for me, I luckily still have the friend down there who can get me stuff if I feel I made a terrible mistake. Haha.

This is from a few years ago, but there were these adorable stuffed Fab Five toys that were made of a shiny fabric and the bodies were completely round (sort of like Tsums but ROUNDER) newly I only got the Mickey. WHY DIDN'T I GET DONALD AND GOOFY TOO???? Lesson learned - I now spend the GNP of a small country on souvenirs and I have zero regrets .

(I also didn't buy a mug I wanted with Walt and Mickey on it on the next trip, but that I was able to find once home on eBay. The markup wasn't much but dear god, the shipping. Seriously, LESSON LEARNED.)

The IASW plush. Everywhere I saw them I just had to go pick them up. I was determined to get a couple on my last trip, but they had finally been discontinued ...in steps the Disney Store site...they had them on clearance! I got them all except my favorite, the pink poodle. Well, one day that pink poodle showed up on my doorstep. Mom and ebay saved the day!


I regret not getting the trash can salt and pepper shakers.

I really do enjoy getting a souvenir or two every trip, but most of my Disney treasures are vintage items I find while out thrifting. My regrets of what I've left behind at thrift stores and garage sales is a long list.

@YawningDodo. I miss Sid Cahuenga's too. I have a bunch of Disney movie posters I collected from there when I was a kid. That place was full of treasures.

I neglected to buy a Dixie Landings shirt and they changed the name to Port Orleans right after I got home.....

So I called guest services 877-560-6477 (toll Free) and got them quickly. Also some Christmas ornaments
