Souvenir Question and Your Must Haves

I buy way to much stuff! We buy pins that have meaning to the trip. For instance, when my daughter got stuck on Screamin' we got a Screamin' pin. We are going to display the pins with photos, when I finally get to working on it. We also tend to get a shirt with the year on it. I used to get an ornament everywhere I went, but I have a lot more ornaments than I have tree! I have my Mickey Vampire popcorn bucket that I keep on top of the TV cabinet. I love looking at it! My husband has the Darth Vader popcorn bucket by his computer. We picket up the souvenir cups that have the dome lid and hanging handle. They have been the best purchase! We bring them with us every time. They can hang off my scooter basket so we don't have to worry about spills. My daughter even uses them at home because she can hang them from her bike handles.

They also have a good selection of the ear hat ornaments at the shop in DCA that is between the photo shop/pin shop and the candy store. That long one that is all connected.

We choose "investment" items, i.e. something that might be more expensive, but that will be more useful and valued. So maybe a nicer sweater or jacket, rather than several t-shirts. Or something from the Wonderground Gallery that we can put on a wall to remind us of a great memory. Also, we try to make sure that what we pick is only available at DLR, not generic to Disney Parks. Somehow knowing that our souvenir is exclusive to DLR makes it more special to us.

I love my reusable cups with lids from the parks!! I have the Starbucks you are here mugs from each park which are on display. I bought a few 5x7 prints from Wonderground on our last trip that I have in my room. I also have a hoodie that was spendy but I love!!!

You guys are giving me some great ideas!!!

Combinations of stuff here. The wife is big into the C33 and HM Dooneys. I'm about mugs/glassware/kitchenware. I agree with everybody about the books... I take a pic of the ISBN and buy them online. I already have an EXTENSIVE Disney library and add to it all the time. Probably close to 5-figures in books... they are my true passion.

I purchase items that capture my interest but I'm always on the lookout for limited edition items or anniversary items. I'm also a sucker for items from Haunted Mansion, POC or Jungle Cruise but I'm picky with my selection since my home is starting to look like a Disney Store. My favorite shop is The Disney Gallery on Main Street.

For me, it's Oswald pins and 1000pc jigsaw puzzles, and sometimes a new coffee mug.

Mugs..... kitchen stuff is fun... last time I visited DL (years back) I got a pretty address book with the castle on it that I love and treasure, and a small umbrella from DL that makes me smile when I use it..... but always more mugs.....

Lots of coffee cups here too and I use the one in my signature pic every day!
We also get my son zip-up hoodies which he wears every day. I have to hide some of the Disney ones from him or he'd wear the same one every day.

We do pins as well. Clothes (Pjs or hoodies). My kids got some earring last time we were there.

We have way too many mugs at home to buy any more mugs, lol.
