Southwst check in

So I am flying south west for the first time.
I just checked in on the dot of 24 hours before and got
B09
B12
B13

for the three of us on one confirmation number.
Why would I not get 3 in a row?
Will this be a problem in sitting together?

You won't have any problems sitting together with those numbers. Folks line up according to those numbers, then get on the plane. When you line up, just let B10 and B11 go ahead of you.

It's pretty common. Not sure why it happens, but it does.

Someone else was probably checking in at the exact same time. It's possible that internally they are assigned one at a time.

Im alittle nervous about not having assigned seats--

I did however sign up so the airline checks you in 3 days early

correct me if Im wrong but I still need to log in 24 hrs and get boarding passes

but how does this work from the resorts--do we need to be back at the resort at the 24 mark to get boarding passes printed

or can that be done anytime after the 24 hr mark

Early Bird checks you in 36 hours in advance. You don't have to log in at 24 hours, only if you want to know what your letter/numbers are. You can have them printed at any park guest relations or at any resort. It does not have to be at the 24 hour mark, you can do it at your convenience anytime after. I believe if you are using ME, they will deliver them to your room with your ME departure envelope. If you are not using ME, you can have them printed before you leave the resort or at the airport.
