Does anyone know when SW will have a "sale" or DING for Chicago-Orlando? We have gone the last 2 years in Aug/Sept and never paid more than $110 RT! I also had my airfare booked by June and then rebooked when a cheaper fare or DING came out. I keep checking and dates in July are $49 each way and all of Aug and Sept are $129 each way! I also have not seen a good DING fro Chicago-Orlando in a LONG time! I am getting nervous! Any thoughts?

Sorry, no idea. I'm in the same boat. Haven't seen any Ding's for PHX to MCO in a long time.

Don't expect any 'Ding' fares until after the summer traveling season ends, usually right after Labor Day.

I also wouldn't be surprised if all of the airlines launch an airfare sale of some kind; the final quarter of the year is a very slow time in the airline biz.

DD's stepmom, who will be joining us, had a "ding" just on Friday for I believe she said $49 ea way, from Cihcago to MCO.

DING fares are released daily so you won't be waiting until after Labor Day - that is misinformation!!! There is actually a thread that shows a history of all the DING fares to/from Orlando and there are specials all summer long.

This morning internet fares for MDW to MCO were lowered to $99 and fares from MCO to MDW are $92-$99. I know it's not as low as some are getting, but it's still something, and under $100/each way
