Southwest Visa Promo question

I already have the Southwest Plus card. If I apply for the Premier Card will I get the 50,000 points?

I'm not sure that you will. I know you can get the promo with both a personal and business card but I don't know if you can get it with both personal cards.

Yes you can. I just did it late last year. I signed up for each card within a few weeks apart but I know people have done it a day apart.

oh I just read this then applied for the plus (I had Premier) looks like we will be flying sw to WDW next year lol I could get it for DH also but gosh the cards are adding up way faster now that our credit is good

Good to know. Over on slickdeals they were saying it had been changed and you no longer got the sign up bonus for both personal cards. That's why people were applying for personal and business.

It's possible it's been changed, but it would have been fairly recently. I got my second card last fall.

Yes you will get the second bonus because they are two different cards.

Since you are applying for both cards in the same year you should go for the companion pass which gives a companion of your choice the ability to travel free with you on paid and award travel!

Just Google Southwest Companion Pass and you'll get all the info you need.
