Trying to price southwest for my November Disney World trip. Does anyone know when they will release November pricing? Now you can only book until November 4. Thank you!

They list it on their website, it used to be under Travel Tools.

Should be in June but expect very high prices when they first come out. SW will start high, slowly drop prices until around 45-90 days out then creep back up. Typically once released SW updates their prices each Tuesday although there are exceptions.

Not exactly true. I book the day they come out, they have a set number of flights that they sell for very low prices on day 1 and once they are gone the price goes up. So its important to be up at 6:00 a.m. I watch the prices everyday and I am glad I booked on day 1.

And to answer the question... On May 19, 2016 we will open our schedule for sale through January 4, 2017

You find this info under "flight schedule" tab.

Thank you for this information. You mention 6 am. Is that when the new flights are up or is it midnight?

Thank you.

I've seen a few price drops with SW, but not many. The ones I've seen have been drops from high prices temporarily down to less-high or medium. I haven't seen good deals pop up out of nowhere, though. The good deals I've seen were good from as early as I looked. YMMV.

Earliest you can book is 6 am on release day. I was on right at 6 and got $80 per person each way for our October trip. Prices for those flights have never been any lower, and they are currently $208 per person each way. If you see a fare you can handle, I would absolutely not wait and hope they go down.

Forgot to add.... May 19 is the scheduled release date for flights through the end of the year.

ETA: saw someone answered above. Will leave this in case anyone else misses it like me. o_O

Glad I checked here! I checked online the other day and it said June 2nd, I woulda missed the first day, yikes! ACtually I was surprised to see the June date as I thought they were always in May.

I travel Southwest for work and pleasure, and have their premiere credit card and I'm a rapids rewards member. My advice is to buy Southwest when available. Watch for prices drops and call customer service when your ticket price drops and exchange the ticket. Not sure if they allow this for everyone, but I've done it several times.

Yes, Southwest allows anyone to reprice flights if the price drops. You can also do this online – no need to call!

SW doesn't charge a change fee. However, for the lowest priced tickets you won't get cash back for the difference if the priced dropped. You get credit on your account to be used on another flight no more than 1 year from the date you originally booked.

The Wanna Get Away (low priced fare) is non-refundable and you get a credit. The higher fares you will get a refund. It's a good point. If you initially buy the lowest fare, you get non-refund. You get a credit.

I'm glad I saw this post as I was still under the impression Dec was opening up June 2. Good to know my Dis friends can be trusted to keep me up to date! Thanks all!

Unless Southwest breaks a pattern they have been following for years, there will be a sale for three days in the first or second week of June that you will want to keep watch for. That sale will cover late August to mid December and typically has their best prices of the year. There is a second sale in the first or second week of October that covers the rest of the winter months. During the sale, some airfares can drop by almost half. However, the sale may not include Friday and Sunday flights.

Are there any sales that cover early August? I'm trying to book from St. Louis and they're like $372 rt

I'm so happy I came on here tonight!!! I need tickets for November travel as well! I will be up early on the 19th! Lol! Thanks!

Sure hope so! Last years sale started June 3rd for travel Aug. 25th to Dec. 16th. Fares were $50,$100 and $150 each way depending on distance.
The fall sale started Oct. 13th for travel Jan. 5th to Feb. 10th.
