Are there any sales that cover early August? I'm trying to book from St. Louis and they're like $372 rt

No, neither of the two big sales cover early August and even the standard weekly "sales" are for the fall right now. Frontier also has some good prices, but then you need to factor in luggage.

Southwest released a fall sale today. Unfortunately flights to/from Florida are discounted only for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Southwest released a fall sale today. Unfortunately flights to/from Florida are discounted only for Tuesday and Wednesday.

That is just their regular "sale" that happens almost every week, the prices rarely change much for those sales. You will know that the "real" fall sale is happening when you see the the magic "$49 $99 $129 $149" numbers appear.

Looks like they moved up the release date from June 2nd to May 19th. Is this typical? I know it was June 2nd at least a few months ago because I marked it on my calendar so I could jump on then. Looks like it's a good idea to check the web site periodically to see if the release date changes!
