I had booked our April 1 outgoing flight to MCO on Southwest in August, I believe. Got it for about $132 each.
Had to wait for our flight coming home April 8 until they opened those days up yesterday. Found a decent flight for $124 each!
So our totals are $256 each. Yes we have to switch planes each way, but that is not a problem as it is just DH and I.
I did book EB for both flights, but the cost for two EB check ins is the same as one bag on most other airlines (and for a week we would need two bags).
On the flip side, I just checked Delta (which we usually use due to nonstops). The fare for our usual flight is $429 each! So we are saving $173 each for a total of $346! Totally worth a plane change.
Time to call and set up magical express!

We scored cheap, too, over our spring break. $112 each way. There we are flying Sun Country - non stop, great time (late afternoon so the kids can go to school that day...). Coming home, late SW flight. Layover in St. Louis, but I don't mind that airport...very condensed. Get in at 11pm. Still holding out hope that an earlier flight goes down in price - DH does have to work the next day!

Southwest success here to but my delay on booking cost me. When April opened up completely I checked early morning for my family of 6, it was $1300 for non stops both ways. I thought I would book after I brought my oldest to school, so 45 minutes later in my office I went to book and the same tickets were $1700. Called the wife and she said maybe we should wait, I said nah I'm booking. By 5:00 the same tickets were $2750. Today the departing flight is sold out and the return flight has doubled. Guess you have to jump on things when you can.....

Flying down 3/25 on Frontier and back 3/31 on SW for $125 RT form Phl

OMG maybe there is hope. BWI fares haven't moved in months. Right now, we are all driving.

I saw some flights to Tampa for $91. I was lucky Frontier opened a new route from PHL to MCO and SW matched their fares for a few days
