Southwest Schedule Opening-Who's Awake and Pressing Refresh?

Ok, I could probably go to sleep and try to wake up around 4 am but if I don't wake up my goose is literally cooked!! I cannot afford expensive airfare for April vacation!!

And God forbid they open before 5 or 6 am which I don't think SW has ever done before. But if they did, it would be tragic.

Anyone else in the same boat?

It's 4 am and nothing so far.

I know in the past years I've booked SW, one time the scheduled opened at 5, another at 6, and yet another at 10 am.

I don't know what time SW has been opening up this past year as I've only been buying April Vacation airfare for the last couple of years.

All of Massachusetts goes on vacation the same week each year as it revolves around Patriots Day, the day of the Boston Marathon, the third Monday in April.

If you're from MA, then I'm preaching to the choir, I know.

Right now all the other airlines flying out of Boston, Providence, Hartford, Manchester, Worcester etc. have prices of at least over $200 one way down to Orlando.

Southwest is my only hope. It will open and then rise as it books out and never come down again. I know some people say with SW check back 2 weeks later or so. With MA April vacation, it's the only game left in town! There's nothing motivating SW to come down in price again.

Out of Providence $129.00 base one way seems to be the standard lowest possible price. $134 total I think.

Boston is higher. Not great. But better than the other airlines.

I'm here too, though looking at the week after MA vacation, we are in NH.
I think $129 is a good guess, we are using our RR's so hopefully not more than 8000 per flight is my hope.

I'm not as optimistic. I think the prices will be posted higher as they know demand will be high.

It says schedule released through June 1, but you can only book until April 9. We already booked GOING on April 3. Airtran has opened on April 10 and I can get $120 each including fees. I got the fare going down on southwest for $110 each including fees. I'd rather pay that (and not have bag fee) but have to go to work soon.
