Southwest sale.. When do they...

Does anyone know when southwest will extend or they may not, but for my dates, Oct 4-Oct 9. They only have the sale for prices thru Sept 29. Does anyone know when or if they do extend October rates?

I think Southwest's schedule is out through Dec 12.

Make sure that you have DING... I just got 'Dinged' for trips Oct. 1 through Nov. 17.

I just got that same ding, but none of the flights go to Orlando. I need to fly out of Raleigh. Do they not post as many dings to Orlando? Since I signed up a few days ago none of the dings have been to Orlando. I think the OP is talking about the internet specials only going till Sept. 29th. I believe she is looking at the FL frenzy specials because I have been looking there also. They still only go through Sept 29th. It is driving me crazy. Thanks for the info. on the Orlando dings.

There are only a few Orlando ding flights at a time/per "Ding", but why I mentioned it is because it seems like first they open the regular fares, then they have ding fares and then they will put any remaining seats on sale. Our 'Ding" fare was only $5 more then the current Orlando sale price so if there are any dings soon they may be very close to what they are offering right now at the very low sale price (if that makes sense) plus then you probably have a good chance at finding the flight that you want. With it being so easy to rebook a cheaper fare, I would definitely jump at a cheap Ding rate and then hope for a sale price to come later.

I called Southwest yesterday & made reservations for a flight later this year. Their schedule was out through December 12.

yes, I have found that also with ding. Ding is not as good as internet specials. I always wait for the internet specials because ding is too high.

did you just dinged for good Southwest fares out of RDU? $87 round trip! Late Sept/ early Oct...did not work for my dates but I am keeping my fingers crossed...maybe will work for you!

Yes, I am sorry I was not more expressive.
I am looking at the Florida Frenzy sales and all dates are only till sept 29th and I need dates from Oct 4- Oct 9 or 10th.
As far as the dings nothing has ever came available for my dates and this is the 2nd time we have traveled to MCO since May.
