www.southwest.com and I believe they have an icon for DING on the homepage. It's basically it's own little application that runs in the background on your pc. Once or twice a day you get "dinged" and you can open up the application to access cheaper airfares being offered. In order to take advantage of the cheaper price, you must purchase your airfare through DING. Calling the 1-800 number will only result in a higher fare.

Hope this helps! :teeth:

You should also know, that DING is really best used by people who are at a computer with it downloaded and an open internet connection for the better part of the day. When you get "dinged" the specials are often only good for a few hours. I have it at work and have been able to take advantage. But if you have a Dialup connection, you get dinged only if you're on line. Also, Just because a ding fare is released, doesn't mean it will benefit you. Here's an example of BDL-MCO
"usual" cheap fares $79 - next tier $109
Internet one way specials frequently available $49
Ding fares $68, $115
I have seen times that DING fares come out a $68, but you can go the website and book for $49
I have also seen times that DING fares are $68 for 6/5-9/12, but the day I want to travel on, it is unavailable.
