Southwest Price Adjustments?

Can someone tell me if SW does price adjustments if your fare goes down? What are the restrictions on it? For example, if I purchase a DING fare and later (but before I fly, obviously) it drops, will they credit me the difference? Is the credit towards another flight or you get the $ back??

SW will give you a credit that is good for 1 year from when the original reservation was booked. So, if you book a flight in July for say Nov, and the fare goes down in Oct. you can request a credit but the credit will be good only until next July.
