Southwest now booking through Dec 12

I bought Airtran tickets for our December trip for same price SW is offering now. We bought one way return first and then one way down as prices got to where we wanted. Airtran dropped some prices to match so now may be a good time to shop airfare in anyone is going through earle December.

Thanks for the heads up on Southwest! I've been checking their site a couple times each day for our days (11/25 - 12/02) and after seeing your post I went and booked ours for $49 each way from Chicago Midway to Tampa (we visit DH mom & dad for the weekend then head down to Disney Monday a.m.)! Thanks a bunch - I checked earlier today and they didn't have flights beyond October.

I did the same as you. Waited for the SWA prices to show, and could only get a $79/person price to MCO from Philly, not for the return, so I went to AirTran and got both ways at $79 each for our dates. SWA may be great for many, but not for us this time! Bob

I just booked Nov 3-12....for 5 of us.....MDW to MCO....a whooping $577. That is $400 less than the best price I can get right now......This will be the first time flying with SWA. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy for you! I think you'll like Southwest...we've really enjoyed our past experiences with them and are looking forward to flying with them 11/25 - 12/2. Enjoy your trip - the savings will give you more money to spend on souveniers while down there (always a plus for me!!!).

Is that round trip or one way?? I am looking for air fare in November also, but the internet specials to Orlando still only go through Sept. 29th. Did you book on the internet or calling SW directly? That is $115 per person for you so I didnt know if it was one way or roundtrip. Thanks for the info.
