So we're flying to WDW in October for the first time this year. We usually travel Thursday- Saturday or Sunday (9-10 nights), so we've booked Thursday, October 10th thru Saturday, October 19th. I understand that the 11th-13th is a holiday weekend, but I'm shocked to see how high ticket prices are right now! (We're flying out of Hartford - BDL.)

There are a few not-as-outrageous prices, but they're the 5+ hour flights with connections, and we're traveling with a 4-year-old with Autism and cerebral palsy and would like to minimize transitions. I know not to hope for the $200 RT that we've had in the past, but $400+ RT per person is a stretch for us.
Anyone have any idea if prices tend to go down at all as we get a little closer to the dates? It's still over 4 months out. TIA for any advice!
