Southwest for summer 2008?

Anyone else obsessively refreshing SW's site today? It's almost 10:45am EST and the summer fares (May 10-August 3) are STILL not out .

I'm sitting here waiting impatiently and hoping that I'm not going to be disappointed with the fares. Since Jetblue and Airtran are around $114 one way for me, I'm not holding out much hope.

I've been "refreshing" since 9:00 a.m. I know - pretty bad, huh? Everything's booked except this darn air fare!

Schedules normally open at 10 a.m. central time so we still have a few minutes to wait.

Has anyone found good rental car rates? We're just going to WDW for three nights before our Mariner cruise and the rates to rent the car for three nights was $300. We need a full size because with the formal nights on the cruise we have just way too much luggage for anything smaller. Guess we'll just use ME and get the car the day of the cruise to get to Port Canaveral.

They are up for me now, EXCEPT for the day that I need (May 15). Every day around it is open, but the 15th only has business and business select. GGGRRRR. I have errands to run, and I need to get this DONE!

I'm pretty sure that I've seen them add the dates after noon time, EST, so we could still unfortunately have to wait another hour. It's not like I'm looking to book a school vacation week, so I don't know why I'm stressing so much about this.

I did OK. I got roundtrip from Providence for 3 people, $597. I'm OK with that.

Got in at 11:10 EST not the best prices at $82 each but still cheaper then what Airtran has right now so I will take it and hope they go lower to use for a Fall trip.

PIT - MCO weekdays in June $79 plus fees each way. Had to adjust travel dates slightly, as some days had nothing lower than $199 available (no wanna get away fares on a Tuesday or Wednesday? odd!), but will check back to see if more open up.

we're going to DL via Vegas ; lowest one way weekday NS end of June PIT to LAS

$129.50 X 3 = $388.50

Air Tran (only long connecting flight thru ATL) would've been

$234 X 3 = $702.00

i'll call it a bargin to make myself feel better & hope for a DING
