What does this mean? I just downloaded Ding last night. It seemed to download OK but when I got up this morning it said 'a communication error has occured'....What do I do to correct this? I'm thinking maybe I should just uninstall the Ding??
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I think it had something to do with my Firewall. The security of my computer information is more important than any 'Ding' I can think of....
I guess I'll have to get my special fares the old fashioned way!

You can have your firewall and DING! This is from the DING website.
My firewall is preventing the application from connecting to the Internet, how can I resolve this?
If you are using a personal firewall application (i.e.: Zone Alarm?, Norton Internet Security?, etc.) check your configuration to make sure that access is enabled for the following URLs: southwest.com and ding.southwest.com and that you have allowed access to the DING! program.
We get this when the computer cannot talk to the internet. Usually it is because our router needs to be reset. I tend to ignore it now and it generally fixes itself after a few minutes.
I did end up reloading Ding onto my computer.I had to go to the 'Programs' section of my Firewall and click 'Allow' next to the 'Ding' Program and now it's up and running fine.
Thank you for your help!
