Southwest Dates

Is there any method to determining when Southwest will release new dates? I'm looking fora flight out on 10/31 but it seems that they are only relased until early or mid October. Should I just check everyday or is it more systematic?

they tend to release dates 4-6 months out. They just released recently. I would not expect much before the middle of May.
