To be slightly more helpful:

We are currently accepting air reservations through September 27, 2013. On March 4, 2013, we will open our schedule for sale through November 1, 2013. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

March 4th for flights up to November 1. I'm booking flight down on Monday but will have to wait to book the return to the next windown opening. Good way to budget (no rush to come home!). They used to open up at 11:00 a.m. but now I think it's around 7:30 a.m.

Build a man a fire, he will be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, he will be warm the rest of his life.

I did this for our summer trip to DLR, it was a nice way to budget!

I think SW opens about 5-5:30 CST for booking. The last couple of times I was in the process of booking while DH was leaving for work and that was right about 5:30 am. I am looking to book our F&W trip on Monday so I will be waiting for the schedule to appear. :yay:

:headache:Ugh! SO close! Our dates are November 7-12! Well, now I can build up more RR with my new SWA Visapopcorn::.

Thanks! I think that will be right around the time the early-bird pricing for the 1/2 marathon will be due. I'll be knocking out all of the non-refundables at the same time:)

Is southwest still flexible if you want to change your flight time or day ? Its been about 2 years since i have used them, so i am not sure if it's the same as it use to be.. it was always very easy to change the time/day with them just by doing it online.. i want to be sure it's still the same before i book, as my day that i want to go may change..

and are they still the same about crediting you if the fare goes down? i know they give it to you in voucher credit, but are they still easy to get that too?

They still credit you the difference in fares, if it is in your favor. But if the price goes up, you will be charged the difference.

It's easy to do on the website. Just be aware the credit needs to be used within one year of the original booking date, and credit has to be used by the same person the credit was given to.
