Now that Southwest has "acquired" Air Tran, can you use Southwest point to fly on Air Tran? Same day, same destinations are running $40 less one way on AirTran.

Now that Southwest has "acquired" Air Tran, can you use Southwest point to fly on Air Tran? Same day, same destinations are running $40 less one way on AirTran.

As far as I know, they haven't completely merged together yet. While yes, Southwest has acquired Air Tran, they still run separately.

I think in the future any Air Tran info you have (such as the reward program) will be transferred over to Southwest.
