Southwest Airlines Question?

I was a flight attendant for SWA for 8 years. I would be happy to answer any questions you have.

SWA does now have the capability for families who are all on the same itenerary to check-in on line. They used to not be able to do this, so you would have to call reservations and get individual confirmation numbers for each member of your party, then you could chek-in on line. However, about a year ago that all changed...you can now check in via the internet with no problems.

Hi Beca or anyone else who can help me!! I am finalizing all the loose ends for our flight FRIDAY and apparently you can checkin online now 24 hours in advance for your flight? But it says this on the website:

To use Online Checkin @ southwest.com and print your Boarding Pass, you must:
Check in beginning 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure
Have a Ticketless reservation
Be checking in for flights that have not already departed
Have purchased an Adult fare type (Customers holding reservations for group, infant, youth, or military fares, and those requiring an additional seat must proceed to the airport for checkin)
Customers traveling on a Senior fare must be age verified before using online checkin. View more information.

We have DS (1) in our party. I dont think we paid the 'infant' rate as we took advantage of a rate that was lower, but does the fact we have a child mean that we cannot do the online checkin anymore? I am LOVING the fact that no one has to get up at midnight, but I am confused about the wording of this?

If anyone can help me, please do! Otherwise, I will call SW tomorrow and let you all know what i find out.

When you put in your reservation number it will tell you which passengers are allowed to check in in advance. If you paid full fare for your ds then he will be listed as well. If he's not, then call SW, but I'm sure you will be fine.
