I just bought my ticket to Orlando for June. If the same dates/times should go on sale before I leave can I call Southwest for them to credit my card back?

What about if there is a DING with a better rate for the dates/times I'm going? Can I get a credit back then?

Thanks in advance for any and all information

It depends on the type of ticket you purchased. If your paid with the CC and the tickets are refundable, then you get the money back on your CC. If you bought the cheapest tickets, then you get a credit that is good for one year from the date you bought the ticket. The credit can only be used by the person whose name was on the original ticket.

On SW, they will give you a credit if the price changes, but it is a credit for another flight on SW, not money back on your CC.
Don't hold your breath waiting for the price to go down, b/c I bought my SW June tickets in Feb. and every time I check the sight, the rates have steadily gone up. The round trip tickets I bought are now about $120 more per person.

I second what ADisneyQueen said. I purchased my June tickets in December and they have gone up since then.
