Based on past history it should have already been released. Many of us think SW is trying to decide when and how many more flights into New Orleans will be restored.

It's also possible SW is looking to add another city.

I think your right Lewis, there are many factors this year that are most liely delaying the schedule.

Would not expect anything now for a couple of days since they just emailed out their "Click and Save" specials which run until Midnight on the 20th and are good from now until February 3rd.

Perhaps the morning of the 21st would be the time for the extension.

Just a guess though.

I downloaded "DING" before hurricane katrina and now it's completely useless because not only did they take away new orleans dings but they only have TWO flights out of MSY a day and they aren't "good" deals in the least, I'm having to book with Delta (190 a person)... it really upsets me that southwest hasn't added or dinged or even lowered the MSY prices... it'll cost me almost 230 to fly out of MSY with SW... Maybe they will add more.. i haven't booked just yet, still waiting... they still have time! I wish they would HURRY!
