We have a 6:35 a.m. SW flight at Buffalo Airport.

What time will I be able to check iour luggage?

What time does Southwest open the desk?

I would check with SWA on how much time they recommend that you be at the airport before your flight. Usually you can check bags for SWA flights 3 hours before your flight.

Typically airport counters don't open until around 4:30, depending on the time of the first flight. Southwest's website suggests arriving 1.5 hours before at BUF.

Thanks, I phoned SW today and the counter does not open till 5:00 a.m. and my flight is 6:25 a.m. so I hope it is not busy. I only have 1 1/2 hours to check our bags, go through security and board.

The earliest you can check baggage before a flight is 4 hours with SW.

When I posted the link above, I looked at the terminal map. It's not very big, you should have plenty of time. I travel alot for work and have been to alot of airports, big and small. If you are at the counter at 5:00, I'd bet you will be at the gate by 5:30. Airports that size are a breeze.
