There's a link to their sale on the website, nothing good from Pittsburgh...but I hope it helps someone...

How I wish. I don't know what is going on in Baltimore, but our roundtrips are well over 300.00 in November.

Just checked my flight from MCO to Buffalo. It's still sitting at 140, but it went to 120 last week for a few hours and I was able to get a credit so I am happy.
I did see quite a few dates in September with 99 fares so it's worth a look.
Thanks for posting OP.:)

I read in another thread about the Southwest Birthday sale expected in mid June. Is this the same sale that they are talking about ? Or will there be another birthday sale coming soon ?
The flights I need is not on sale at this one so I am wondering whether I should wait for another week before bitting the bullet. TIA

No, this isn't the Birthday Sale. Based on previous years, that should start next Tuesday, June 19th.

I'm just hoping that those prices are as good as they've been in past years.

FWIW I also got the same email from Airtran. It's also worth a look as I noticed they are offering more non-stops out of Buffalo than Southwest is.
In the end neither beat the price I already have.

Does the Birthday Sale typically cover up through December or is it only Fall travel. I need a good rate for Dec. 26

I just tried to book a flight to Orlando for November and even though it said from my airport to orlando was $99, all I got were flights starting at $154 with no $99 in sight. What gives???

I was actually able to switch my flight down to a later time and save 337.00. I used my 337.00 credit toward the flight home which was 99.00 (sale) per person and we are flying home for a grand total of 51.00 per person. We will be arriving to Disney 1-1/2 hours later, arriving at 12:50 p.m. but for that savings to apply to the 99.00 price home, it's worth it!

All in all, we have round trip for 7 for roughly 1250.00 arriving in Florida at 12:50 p.m. and getting back home at 11 a.m. on our return flight home. I would have to say not too shabby AT ALL! Thanks again for posting.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, OP for this heads up. I couldn't book the $99 for Airtran, but got it for SW. We weren't even planning another trip to Disney this year, but when I told DH we could fly for $99 each way, he said book it! I'm in shock!! Now I need to get everything else lined up. I'M GOING TO WDW AGAIN THIS YEAR!!!:cheer2::cheer2:

Ugh, same here! Got the email for both SW and Airtran, the lowest I can find is for $154 each way on any day! I've been holding off booking our Oct. trip and was so excited to see those prices this morning only to be let down.

Good rates for Dec 26 are like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster. Some people think they exist but they do not. I fly to Diz every year from Dec 26 to Jan 3rd for insanely busy parks and college bowl games. I usually lock in SW flights with my SW points the day that they release dec an dthen rebook if it drops, but don't expect anything great for that day. If you can stomach flying Xmas day you will find MUCH better rates.

That means the flights are almost booked full thus they don't need to discount ! My Dec. 16th last flight of the day sold out in 8 hours !

Been watching these rates like a hawk, so I jumped on our flights this morning. Just booked our early Sept flights out of New Orleans for $99/leg. Thank you, SWA!!!
