Southwest 50,000 reward points

When I applied yesterday, it was the 50,000 miles with $69 fee. My offer was from an e-mail, and I had to give them the offer code.

I just called back and was approved on the phone!

The points are added to your account 6-8 weeks after your first purchase. I am still waiting for mine to be added to my account.

My points were definitely quicker than 6-8 weeks. I got my card mid-May, made a purchase right away and the points were awarded before the latest SW flights opened on 6/4 because that is when I purchase my January flights. I just made my first payment which wasn't even due until 6/19. I figured the points wouldn't be there until I made payment but I was pleasantly surprised.

My first purchase was May 9 and I was awarded my points today. So just over 5 weeks. The info says to allow 6-8 weeks.

how do you get an email offer for the 50,000 points ...
I would really like to apply for that !!!!!!
