Souther Elegance...Rocky start..Great Ending!!!

We just returned today from our WDW vacation. Because of things I read here I booked a town car thru Southern Elegance. Our driver was waiting when we arrived. I guess I was somewhat disappointed with our driver. He only said 2 phrases the whole entire trip. Which was..Welcome to Orlando..My name is Fernando! Seriously, I didnt make that up!LOL He never spoke a word on the entire ride to the Swan. My husband sat in the front with him and he never said a word to him either. I think my kids were scared to speak also (which actually was a good thing)LOL. So actually today when we had to leave I was dreading being subjected again to Fernando! Well we were suprised with a LIMO! There was a huge Mickey Mouse in the seat! My kids were exstatic! There was a different driver, though I didnt get his name he was joking and being very friendly! This Limo ride really topped a great WDW vacation! I would definately use Southern Elegance again!!!

That is so cool. I wish all towncar/limo drivers were like that. Now if only your vacation started that way.

The Mickey was setting inside to keep the kids company! It was great and a shrek DVD was playing o the TV. My kids thought they were royalty!

Your limo experience sounds like fun.

To tell you the truth, I do not mind a quiet driver. Last time we had a van driver, he talked non-stop to the point I worried he was not paying attention to driving. I would rather a driver pay attention to driving than engage me in conversation, but I realize some people want the whole package. I figure as long as a driver keeps their eyes on the road, concentrates on driving, gets me where I want to go, and is cordial, I am very happy.
