I'm also reporting in with this week's weight loss. I'm happy to report that I have lost 2.5 pounds for the week. I kept the one pound off from earlier in the week plus another pound and a half. So I have officially lost 48 pounds. :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I hope everyone else on the Beach is doing well! Take care everyone.

The weight is just falling off you. I have been in a major stall, but, as I have been saying all along, everything looks better, fits better, etc. Bought some new blue jeans the other night and the waist size was 6 inches smaller than the ones I bought last October.

I finally started to lose weight again, but with this kidney stone I have not been working out so I know I am losing muscle mass. I will have the stone blasted apart on Friday and should be able to get back to working out next week. Meanwhile, I am one pound from the 35 pound clippie, so...

sm4987 - congratulations on your 2 pounds loss! That is just awesome. Keep up the great work!!!!

Jerry - thanks for the compliment and the support. You obviously are losing inches and that is just incredible all by itself. I know as soon as you get that kidney stone taken care of, you'll blast right past me! 35 pound clippie get ready for Jerry to claim you!!!!

I hope all you other Beachers are doing well and will report in soon.

I seem to be only losing about 5 lbs per month. What about all of you? I only have about 16.5 more lbs to go to my weight goal of 140, but still, shouldn't I be losing more than that? My MD thinks it is fine. I just get sooooooo discouraged. DH has lost 26 lbs to my 11.5. I know this is the same old tune, just on a different day.

Jerry, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Lisa, you are doing wonderfully! Good for you!!! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the support! It makes me feel so good to have encouragement!

I think your progress is just about right. You are so close to goal and I read somewhere that the closer to goal you get, the slower the weight loss can be.

My weight loss has varied. During the two week Phase 1 period, I lost 14 pounds. After that I was losing about 2 pounds per week. Then I stepped up my workouts with heavy weights and my weight loss slowed to sometimes 1/2 pound per week. This is the second week in a row I've lost 2.5 pounds. I'm happy about it but don't expect it to be that high every week. Factoring in my ups and downs, I'd say I'm losing about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds per week now, which is just about right considering I still have about 89 pounds to reach my goal.

Congratulations for almost reaching your goal weight! That must feel terrific!!!!

Weirdeyes: That seems to be what I am losing too. 3-5 pounds per month. That's o.k. by me, at least something's coming off.

Well I went shopping for Easter today. I went into the dressing room with 14's. They were too loose!!! I cried. I went and found some 12's. They were lose in many areas, except for the top :o . I was so excited I cried. I'll be in a 9/10 any minute now.

Sheree - a big WOOHOO for you and your size 12's! I can't imagine what that must feel like but hope to find out one day. My sister paid me the nicest compliment. I told her I was shopping in Lane Bryant the other day for pantyhose and that now I wear their smallest size. She told me not to worry because by this summer I'll be wearing clothes from regular stores. I thought that was so cute. Not true but cute. I've got quite a ways to go before I can wear clothes from regular stores but I appreciated the comment.

Anyway, I just really want to say WTG Sheree with your progress!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hey Beachers!! It's so good to hear how well you are all doing.

Sheree'- Congrats on losing 21 lbs. and the "downsizing" of your wardrobe.:hyper: It's so exciting to be able to fit into smaller clothes. You'll be wearing those 9/10s in no time.

Lisa- You're knocking on the 50 lb. door!! Your progress is such an inspiration. I know that I for one cannot wait to shop somewhere besides Lane Bryant. I'm ready for some variety. Your sister was right you'll probably be in regular stores soon. Good for you!! Btw, my husband and I made your buffalo chicken strip recipe last night. They were delicious!!

Jerry- I know it must be frustrating not being able to exercise, but once you get rid of that kidney stone you'll be at it again and putting us all to shame.:teeth: If everything is fitting looser and looking better then you must be doing something right. We're proud of ya.

WeirdEyes- I usually average anywhere between 1-3 lbs. a week. I think that with any healthy weightloss program the average should be 1-2 lbs. per week. I like to think that the slower the weight loss the more likely it will stay off. When you think about it most people that lose weight too rapidly usually gain it back quickly and then some. Just try to keep your focus on your new, healthy lifestyle.

Good Lord, we fell to page 2

Well, the lithotripsy was done today, and now I am home and feeling a little sore - nothing that percocet can't handle. Hopefully by Monday, all the fragments will be gon and I can put this stone behind me.

Have a Happy Easter, ya'll.

Julie - Hi! Thanks for the compliment. I have on an extra large pair of exercise pants and I almost can't believe it! Leaving LB behind will definitely be something I don't regret!

Jerry - I'm glad to hear your procedure went well and know you'll be back up and exercising in no time.

I weigh in on Sunday and will report back what the scale says. Everyone have a great weekend! :)

Jerry, Glad to hear your procedure went well and is over with. I hope you pass the fragments quickly and without much pain. Hope you get well soon!!

We're on page 2 again, and we can't let that happen! :)

I'm reporting in with my weight loss for the week. I'm down 1.5 pounds which I'm very happy with but I was hoping for 2 pounds so I could snag my 50 pound clippie. I know 49.5 pounds is a good accomplishment so I'm not complaining, well not a whole lot, anyway. Hopefully, at this coming Sunday's weigh in, I'll be claiming that beautiful 50 pound clippie!

How is everyone else doing on the Beach these days?

Hello all. I am down 1 pound. 11 pounds from my first goal. Well, wishing all of you the best.

It ain't about the scale
It ain't about the scale
It ain't about the scale
It ain't about the scale
It ain't about the scale
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: I got my 35 pound clippie!!!:bounce: :bounce:
It ain't about the scale

Sheree - congratulations on the the pound! Woohoo!

Jerry - you are so right, it's not about the scale. Hey who are we kidding? Your new clippie looks just great on you! Keep up the great work!!!!

Jerry- yeah!!!! It's npt about the scale, but it feels so good to watch it go down ::yes::

I hope everyone is doing well. It looks as if some of us have stopped posting. Come back and join us LOSERS!!!

I am slowly beginning to go into Phase 2 for SB. I added some shredded carrots to my salad yesterday. Otherwise it is still pretty much phase 1. My question is I had 3 small chicken breasts yesterday with vegetables between lunch and dinner. The vegetables were peppers, onions (2) and grape tomatoes. I feel that I ate too much (portion?) but was never really totally full. I didn't have that too overfull feeling is what I mean. I felt ok. Was this too much? I had a salad for breakfast as I hate eggs. Then some nuts/string cheese for snacks. Ended with a sugar free fudge bar and had some sugar free gum in between. Drank lots and lots of water. Somehow I felt off track yesterday? I don't know why!

wilderness01-Your meals sound fine to me. You ate a good mix of foods. Maybe you were just having an off day, but there seems to be nothing wrong with what you ate.

Sheree' and Lisa - It looks like we will all be at WDW about the same time. We are camping at Ft Wilderness for 2 weeks. Where are ya'll staying?

I'm staying at the Dolphin (club level) Maybe we'll see each other:wave2:

Sherre,

Thanks for the reinforcement. That is alot of my trouble......portion control. I just felt like I ate too much by looking at it, not what my stomach told me! My husband even looked at it funny and made a comment about "all that". Not mean, just not getting it. Sure you can eat a LOT less by filling up on bread, pasta is what I told him! You try only eating veggies and see how full you are! That is where the chicken breasts came in, for fullness. He has been a doll about making me alot of my meals, so maybe I just felt sensitive yesterday.

Thanks again.

Wilderness
