Just got back from a Marine World trip and from the advice of a friend I used the following items.

-For chapped lips… Lanolin (a dab will do ya literally) you can find it in the Breastfeeding section of any store. I bought Lansinoh, but any will work. Just put a SMALL amount on the lips and wow does it do the trick. Don’t worry about it getting in the mouth of a child, it is made for breastfeeding. If a baby can put it in his mouth…… ok then, works for me.
-Corn starch… I know sounds different, but she uses it in place of baby power. She uses it for rashes and feet and yes, they baby.

I am adding these items to my Disneyland box of things to bring.

Strange things I know, but they work GREAT!

Oh, yeah. Lansinoh is wonderful stuff. But be aware that people who are allergic to wool will also be allergic to lanolin.

The Lanolin is also GREAT for when you have a cold, and your nose is all chapped and painful from blowing it so often.

I actually discovered this stuff due to a terrible cold I had while I was at WDW! Went into a local drug store, and wandered the aisles and picked up anything I thought might help - then went to the pharmacist and got his opinion. He recommended the breastfeeding lanolin from the stuff i'd picked up.

It's especially great at night - put some on before you go to bed, and by morning, your nose will feel MUCH better.

I keep some of this in a small container at work, for my nose (can you tell I get a lot of colds/sinus infections?).

Works great!!

Lansinoh works great on minor cuts and scraps too.

I heard about it at LLL and a small tube ($5 at Walmart baby section) lasts forever. (It's a great way to use it up after Bfing.) I had chemically burned (from the wash for redoing the deck) a very large area of my arm, from my wrist to my shoulder. It was a minor 1st degree burn but still looked very bad and hurt. It felt so much better right away, the cooling factor, and healed very well. It is very greasy, like vasoline type of stuff and also make sure to keep it away from the eye area.

I figured this out a long time ago. My allergy to lanolin extends to even the scent of it in hand lotion. It makes my nose hurt, and gives me a headache.
