Is the Sounds Dangerous show still on at MGM. We really enjoyed that show last time we were there in 2000

I was there in July and saw it still open. It's funny, I don't know why some people don't like it. :confused3

It was open in April when we went, and I have heard nothing about it closing, so it's a pretty safe bet you will get to catch it. I really enjoy the show, as well (though I seem to be in the minority) And I love the sound booths at the exit!

Your right I don't why most people don't like this attraction. :confused3 We thought it was great and can't wait to hear (ha ha) it again. :rolleyes1

Thanks for the info.

Sorry, I'm one of those who hated it. Actually our entire family hates it.

If I wanted a place to sleep, it's a great place. But as an attraction, nope, did it once and never going back.

It was still there as of 2 weeks ago when we were there.

I can't say we hated it, but it isn't on the list of must see for the next trip. It was a good place to sit down, cool off, and rest the blisters.

For me, I like it, but it is not a "must-do". It is a great place to rest.
I really, really, love the sound booths at the exit. Don't miss them!

Yep...when it looks like DH is getting grumpy and needs a rest...we head to Sounds Dangerous or The muppet movie.
(both have comfy seats for him to nap in. heheheh)

Is Sounds Dangerous okay for small children? I'm not completely clear on what the show entails, but the name is offputting.

You should avoid it if your small children are scared of the dark. The theater is pitch dark (as in cant see the hand in front of your face dark) for most of the show.

In many trips, we never went in this because I am not a Drew Carey fan at all. (I hate how he laughs at his own jokes all the time). We went for the first time in March, and enjoyed it; beware of the very dark conditions. It was fun to listen, and I may convince everyone to go in December if it's not too crowded. It's no Tower of Terror, but it's cute once.
