I searched and didn't find anything so just an FYI to anyone planning a trip that would include some time playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. We just got back, and the Liberty Square location was closed, so if you want to pick up your daily pack of cards, make sure you stop by the Fire Station when you first get into the park. CM's weren't sure if it was permanent, but it was definitely closed when we were there.

This was our first time playing, and we loved it. DW and I probably liked it better than the kids, but our almost 4yo DS loved unlocking portals and watching the videos. We ordered a baseball card organizer for our cards since it was tough to sort through an entire deck every time. We'll have it for our future trips and wished we would have gotten it ahead of this one.

That's too bad. There was never a line back there. It's where I always picked up my MNSSHP card. The Fire Station can be kinda crowded sometimes. I guess though it makes sense since there was never anyone back there.

Yes, I complained about it in March (not that it did any good)
It's actually quite inconvenient as you have to contend with the crowds on Main Street during parades, etc. Not to mention the fact that you might be working portals in Fantasyland, Adventureland, etc. and have problems resulting in having to truck all the way to the front of the park to resolve (and we know how Disney technology works...er, doesn't work..)

Also, while we were inside they closed the Big Station Door as it was nearing time for the Main Street EP. I suppose you could still use the side door but to anyone outside it might seem like the station was closed.

We actually found out when we were working on Liberty Square. We figured we would just head back there and grab our cards before we opened our next portal. We just decided to go ahead with the cards we had (it was a pretty good collection by that point) and we picked up our pack on the way out.

Me and my 8 year old tried Sorcerers for the first time this April. We went to the Fire Station on Main street, they explained the rules, then told us to go to the Liberty Square location next. We got there and....nothing. It would not work. We tried to go to another station and got a "your in the wrong place" message. So that was that. Short-lived.

That's too bad. It's super fun. Sounds like you headed to the training outpost in Liberty Square that I mentioned was closed first. Then, you went to a different portal than the one you were supposed to start at. At the end of your initial training, there was a red symbol that should have shown at the bottom of the screen when it said to head to Liberty Square. The map they give you in your training should have helped you find the corresponding portal. The next time you go back, stop by the fire station and ask a CM to help you locate your first portal. They should be able to scan your MB or Card and help you figure out exactly where to go.

Thanks for the tips! We may have tried a bit harder to figure it all out, but Splash Mountain was calling. Next time we will have a little more patience. We did try Agent P for the first time and we loved it, so I think we'll probably enjoy Sorcerer's too. Next time!

Thank you so much for posting this!!!! My wife is a HUGE fan of this game and although we usually do stop off at the Firehouse immediately, the closing will most likely create even larger lines there for cards.
We're heading down in only 4 more days!!!! :hourglass
