Hi, if if I book 3flights on Southwest and my DS decides he doesn't want to go can I cancel just one ticket and get a credit to use towards a future flight?

I had the same scene last year with SW. If you purchase 3 tickets under the same confirmation number and need to cancel 1 of the 3 you will have to re-book the other two, at possibly a higher $ which is what happened to me...

So from now on I book each leg for each person separately. Granted we are all adults and can safely sit alone if we get large gaps in boarding passes.

I would suggest that if there is a chance of cancelling... then book DS with a separate confirmation #.

But that is just me...;)

Thanks I just booked my flight and did mine and DD together and did DS seperate! We got a $62 flight I hope it drops!!! :cloud9:

Definitely book that one separately. I had to cancel one of our flights and it was a nightmare trying to use all of our credits to rebook.
