Sorry totally new here, what will be in my welcome package?

Hello, sorry I tried to do a search but I only found posts where people announced it. Then I was confused because people said they got a package at check in too. I am so very curious what are in these packages please? First onsite stay ever. Room only reservation through Disney. Haven't bought tickets yet. Buying tickets through AAA I think.

I booked through aaa last month for our trip in 7 days. The perks I got was the "Diamond Parking" pass, which allows you to part at spots closer to the entrance of parks/hotels, a pass for an "exclusive" storytelling by a character on main street at MK (I would like to hear from someone who has went to this), a round of mini-golf, a coupon for $15 off the mouseboats, and a $15 coupon off at Wolfgang Pucks. All that being said the main reason I booked with AAA was that it was over $400 cheaper than the Disney web was listing for a week at POR. My agent was very knowledgeable about Disney and made all my dinner reservations for me. When I received my welcome packet AAA also sent me maps for every state I will be driving through, as well as hotel books, and a map of Orlando. All my dinner reservations were good, even though I booked less than a month away (Cinderellas table, Sci-Fi, Boma, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef -- all for dinners).

The only thing you get at check~in is a folder with a map to your room, park brochures, dining information and info on any activities going on at your resort.

Not really a welcome gift, but people save them as momentos.

Edited to add: Ohhh....nevermind....I thought you meant "what do you get at check in from the hotel." You meant what does AAA give. Sorry.

Did you call AAA for a package quote. I know i just called for my dd and her 2friends and it was $138.00 cheaper than disneys website and they are getting the room, tickets and dining.
