Is there anyplace to rent a camcorder (the real small size) for a week?? We have a large one, but I really don't want to carry that thing around all week long. Dh is doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience and I want to capture the smile on his face (this is my bribe to get him to come back with me, lol).

Has your DH ever done the RPE??? I gave my husband the Rookie Experience for his B-day two years ago and I managed to keep it a surprise until after we were at Disney, the evening before his "experience". He was astonished--NEVER thought in a million years that is what he would get for his B-day. HE HAD A BLAST and definitely wants to do it again--he said that I MUST try it too. Although it's pricey, he wants a few more laps next time he goes--not quite enough time in the RE. Anyways, your DH will have a GREAT time!

no, he's never done the driving experience and I can only afford the Ride Along. It was supposed to be a surprise, but stupid me, I left it out before I went to work. I'm hoping he enjoys at least riding along.

I'm sure he'll enjoy the RA. My Dad had done the RA and he said it was pretty amazing! We might do the RA when we go too! I'm afraid once your DH has the "taste" for speed he'll be begging to drive the next time you're at WDW. Have him start saving his change to go towards the RE the next time!!

To have a Camcorder on the road, I'd go to your local rent-a-center, Aaron Rents, or any other local place. Nine changes out 10 They'll have some kind of special (maybe buy 1st week and 2nd week free). And its usually not much money (maybe $20/$30 a week).

Or you could be like me (an Ebay Shopper) and buy a new one in the box (from Sharp directly) for $215. It just came yesterday and it was perfect!!!
