Sorry not wedding related but need to vent.

I am sorry this is not remotely wedding related but I am really upset so need to vent.

We have been moving about a lot lately cause of work and stuff, I am really really tired of it all. So we were supposed to get the keys to our new house today the one we should be settled in for a few years at least. We should have got them this morning (it is now 4.15pm here) and we are still waiting and not very hopeful that we are getting them today. All because the seller went away to India and forgot to sign his part of the contract - how stupid can you get.

I could only have today off work and I am on 3x twelve hour shifts after today I have removal men booked for tomorrow and I am gonna have to cancel them and then see if they can fit me in again that could take another few weeks all of our belongings are in storage so we will have to pay more for them to keep them, and a silly thing to be annoyed about but I really wanted to thoroughly clean the place when there was nothing in it (something in all the moves we have done recently that I have not been able to do)that was my plan for today and now I wont get the chance.

I am so frustrated.

sorry had to moan a bit.

Oh thats awful, especially with all the moving around, you just want to get in and get settled! I can't imagine, how did he forget? I mean, its not he forgot to pack socks for his trip, this is huge! Hopefully everything will get taken care of quickly, and the removal men can get you in soon! Good Luck with everything, i'll cross my fingers for you!

I know that feeling, and it's horrible

Our original close date on our house was in June and we just finally closed last Monday. Everyone took a vacation week, we signed our notice to vacate our apartment and set everything up, only to find out we couldn't move!

Happy to say that now everything is worked out and even though everyone had gone back to work, we stayed late every night cleaning/painting and making it liveable. No offense to any dog owners, but the previous owner had a 170 lb. mastiff mixed with something else, and the smell was horrible in the house.

I know it's hard to try to keep positive when everything seems like it's going against you.

Man what a closing from hades.....have did they screw that up so badly....I hope that idiot had to pay for that mortgage for that whole year he was gone

I hope things get better & look for the light at the end of the tunnel....i had to tell myself that thru 3yrs of remodeling..so I know you will be ok!!
