I have a pair of generic Crocs. Am curious if anyone has noticed their pair of Crocs being slippery on wet pavement.

I've never had a problem with my real Croc's, so it's probably because your's are generic and not the real thing. My Mom always said "You get what you pay for".

I nearly wiped out in my Beach crocs on the wet Boardwalk outside the Yacht Club a few months ago.

I never said I slipped in my Croc like clogs. I read a post on here that someone with real Crocs did and I was only questioning if others noticed them being slippery than other shoes!

I have crocs I've had them for a year and they are starting to get slippery. I keep meaning to go buy a new pair, but haven't gotten around to it, luckly there isn't much breakin to them. I can't wear them in the rain as I pretty much slide across pavement of any sort.

Depends upon the surface. Our wooden deck is slicker-n-snot (when wet) in my generic crocs, but doesn't bother my duck shoes or Ariat boots a bit.

Yes. I have REAL Crocs and after a good down pour in Epcot, I almost wiped out several times.

I also slipped getting out of my wet seat on Splash Mountain.

Once the tread on the Croc's start to wear out you will notice that they become slippery... Makes it kinda fun though... Keeps ya on your toe's... Or on your butt if you're not graceful:)...

Yes, mine are slippery on wet floors and pavement (real Crocls!). That's one of the reasons I decided not to wear them on our trip in December. I was afraid of slipping and I already have one bad ankle. Don't want to make it worse!

I fell on my rear last week in my generic crocs just as I was saying 'Man, someone better be careful or they will slippppppppppppppp!!!' and down I went.

Can't wait for my Disney crocs to get here tomorrow.

I thought the crocs were designed for boating :confused3 wouldn't they not slip? I've never owned a pair, but that's what I thought...

Yeah, I thought they were made for boating, too. I guess because they float they'd be good. :confused3

I've fallen on wet floors, but wet pavement (rough) was okay. The floors though.....can you say "Slip 'n' Slide"? ;) OMGosh! I always leave school just after the custodian has mopped the floors! OH, and the fall is NOT a graceful one! :scared1:
