I looked last week when the March fares came out and a round trip for us was $210 each. Then it quickly went up to $310. Then tonight it went back down to $210. I should have bought then. Now it is back to $268. If I buy one way legs of our trip at that price and then the price goes down, will SW give me a credit on my card? I don't want a credit for a future ticket cause we don't fly that much.

My experience with SWA is that if you keep the same flight/day and the fare goes down they will credit your CC. I recently did this with a reduced Ding fare for our already booked flights from BDL/MCO. I called the "non 800" customer relations number and they took care of the credit. You will still have to cancel your original itineraries, get the flight credit, book the new fare using your flight credit and then call to request the remaining balance be credited back to CC. Good luck!
